With an emphasis on big love and big vibes, 10:32 (yes, like the time) is a future-soul collective from London featuring Lyle Barton, Radovan Brtko and Bridget Walsh. 10:32 debuted at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2018 and have since toured internationally with sessions, shows, broadcasts and festivals in the UK, Aotearoa (New Zealand), Australia and the USA. For fans of artists including Hiatus Kaiyote, D’Angelo, Erykah Badu, Thundercat and more, 10:32’s magic-making groove party takes you through galaxies of jazz, hiphop, breakbeat, house and RnB, all with a sprinkling of analogue synths, wavy vocals, booty-shaking grooves and chakra-shaking breakdowns.
"A beautiful, jazzy, soulful journey with the lushest vocals"
- Tony Minvielle, Jazz FM [UK]
10:32’s 2021 EP "Aequus Animus" was recorded at London’s Total Refreshment Centre and produced by Hackney-based Melbourne artist, Lewis Moody (ZFEX, 30/70). A follow up single version of "Seedling" was released for Earth Day with award-winning Aotearoa artist, Troy Kingi. "Seedling" was a featured track on NZ on Air's compilation for NZ Music Month 2021, and Aequus Animus was a top Bandcamp pick by Jazz FM the same month. With previous shows and broadcasts including RNZ, Electric Brixton, NZ’s National Jazz Festival and Ronnie Scott’s, 2022 saw the band recalibrate and renew their vision post-pandemic with a host of new tunes concocted on a farm in rural Oxfordshire, culminating in an opening slot for Aotearoa’s hugely successful band, SIX60, at their sold out London show.
10:32’s latest single “Coffee Shop Girl” was awarded funding and support from New Zealand’s national broadcasting arm, NZ on Air, and the band returned in April from a third headline tour of NZ to promote the release, including multiple live to air broadcasts and a final show at Auckland’s prestigious venue, The Tuning Fork. "Coffee Shop Girl" was produced with Clinton McCreery (Louie Vega, Mark de Clive-Lowe) and boasts an adorable animated music video. The single premiered on Jazz FM and currently features on two Apple Music’s editorial playlists: “Jazz Scene UK” and “New Latitudes”. 10:32's next single "Magic Beans" is currently in post-production and due for release after the UK summer.
Bridget is a warm and whimsical vocalist originally from Aotearoa, who has been touring with UK bands since 2013, with a résumé that includes Glastonbury, Boomtown, Latitude, Subsonic and the Edinburgh Fringe. Lyle is an air-bending, face-melting pianist and synth wizard, who plays with artists including Emma-Jean Thackray, Golden Mean and Nala Sinephro. Radovan is a highly sought after drummer, producer, DJ and good-vibe-bringer, originally from Slovakia where he started touring in his early teens. 10:32 embodies the magic of creating art with your best mates and making unpretentious music and sonic wizardry to bring you home.
"A multifaceted jazz-tinged journey through hazy late night grooves, elevated throughout by transportational vocals and fusion synth pyrotechnics"
